Our story

Four decades of trusted advice, from the heart of Skipton

The firm was originally established in 1982 by Arthur Walker. Over the years the practice expanded and moved to larger premises on Water Street, where it remains today. Arthur's son, Andrew, joined the office after completing his training with a big-four national accountancy firm.

After Arthur's retirement, Andrew became the sole proprietor of the business. A Chartered Certified Accountant (BSc, FCCA), he stays in close, personal contact with most of the firm's clients.

The practice provides a personal and efficient service — many clients have been with the firm for decades, a quiet testament to the relationships built here.
